Blackberry 9630 Tour * * * *

Blackberry 9630 is a great device when it comes down to roaming and international travelling. This device is loaded with GPS, Bluetooth and 3.2 mega pixel camera. Blackberry 9630 features a high resolution display and equipped with a QWERTY keyboard.

Blackberry 9630 replaces the 8830 world edition phone. It keeps the dual mode functionality which means it can connect to GSM and CDMA technology.

Features:
As mentioned Blackberry 9630 works in dual mode and also capable of 2100 Mhz UMTS/HSDPA band, so you can connect to 3G technology while travelling aboard. Device is capable of detecting different modes and automatically switching over to get the best connection possible.

This device is also loaded with 3.5mm audio jack, memory card slot, push email and GPS navigator. Blackberry 9630 is available from Sprint and Verizon.

Pros:
Nice big high definition screen (sharp and crisp images)
Good sound headset and speaker quality
Good camera
GPS capability
Dual mode: GSM/CDMA/EDGE 1XEVDO and UMTS/HSDPA

Cons:
No Wi-Fi available.

Specs:

Modes: GSM/CDMA/EDGE 1XEVDO and UMTS/HSDPA

Battery

Overall:

Overall I give this device a 4.0 rating out of 5. This is a good unit for anyone travelling abroad or doing email. High definition screen does make quite a bit of difference when using GPS and surfing internet. It is a well performing smart phone built with lots of user friendly features.
